I bought a new Soltek Easel and had to try it in my backyard first. It was valentines day, I bought tulips and put it in vase and placed it outdoors on a table. It was awesome experience to paint outdoors, I love the light for painting!! And BTW this painting will be taught in my One Day Workshop coming up on 28th Feb!!

This is lovely!!! Nice lighting on the petals. I am jealous that you were able to stand outside and paint...we are so bundled up here in NY and surrounded by snow.

DeleteHow nice to paint something other than fruit and vegetables! I love tulips at this time of year and am very envious it is warm enough to paint outside - here in Scotland we would be blown away, drowned and frozen!
