On Day 2 I felt like doing a plum to change up the colors and to make it interesting, I cut it in half for painting. for adding more interest, I put glass under the plum to get reflection.

Painting is all about keen observation. Notice the dark shadow area under the plum. Normally if it was not glass under it, the shadow would have been darkest right under the fruit and then lighter downwards, But since there is glass under it, right under the fruit, shadow is light. Plus the edges of glass need to be painted quite differently.

Display idea:
Such paintings will look beautiful in a small space on a mini easel. Or a group of similar themed paintings can be framed together in a collage.
