And... the Grand Finale is... Hungry for Pear!! My friend friend suggested Anticipation in Green!! Loved the new title!
I absolutely enjoyed this journey of 30 paintings and these 30 days have been the most productive! Feel very accomplished. The challenge in this painting is the background fabric is almost the same color as the pear and the knife - a shiny surface!! I used to think when I began painting few years ago ... How do you paint a metal surface without metallic paints? No more a puzzle for me, its possible!! Check it out:

ReplyDeleteThanks Sue, Congrats to you too!!
DeleteCongratulations on 30 days of wonderful paintings!!! I just scrolled through and looked at all of your posts. I'm so glad you had them set up so that they were easy to see...not every blog or website that I visited during the month even showed the work from that day. I love the texture you get with the palette knife and you had so many wonderful pieces. I especially liked the ones with the fruits and the candies...a double treat. I am going to put your blog in my links so I can come back and visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joan! I added you to my blog list as well! Will be able to see your posts more often that way!
